Pakistan conveys strong demarche to India on first martyrdom anniversary of Geelani

Pakistan Th sent robust move to India and expressed commonality with Kashmiris on the primary day of remembrance of the martyrdom of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali crowned head Geelani.

“Pakistan joins the Kashmiris on either side of the road of management (LoC) in paying tribute to painting Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali crowned head Geelani on the primary day of remembrance of his martyrdom, today. Syed Ali crowned head Geelani breathed his last in long-drawn black Indian custody on 01 September, 2021,” ministry same in a very statement issued here.According to the statement, the Indian Charge d’Affaires (Cd’A) in national capital was known as to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a powerful move was remodeled India’s continued  obstinacy and refusal to simply accept Syed Ali crowned head Geelani’s right to a burial in accordance along with his can.

The Cd’A was sent Pakistan’s deep regret that despite the passage of 1 year since Syed Ali crowned head Geelani’s ending in Indian custody, the govt. of India had persisted in its intransigency and denied him a dignified burial within the “Cemetery of Martyrs” as per his want.“More ominously, Kashmiris weren't even allowed to pay respects to the revered leader at the burial site in Hyderpora, Srinagar, wherever he was hastily buried by the Indian occupation forces within the absence of his family and followers,” it added.

The Cd’A was urged to convey to the govt. of India that the mortal remains of the late Syed Ali crowned head Geelani should be inhumed at the “Cemetery of Martyrs” as per his can, and unhampered access run to his family and followers to pay reverence to the good leader, the statement sameSyed Ali crowned head Geelani’s unshrinking commitment to the Jammu and Kashmir cause, within the face of persistent ill-usage and tremendous personal hardship, is unique.
